1. Making a Purchase at AVIN
When ordering an AVIN, the standard lead time is approximately 3 weeks from the date the order is placed, and the payment is secured. While we do our best to assist clients who require expedited delivery, AVIN prioritizes flawless quality. Each unit is handmade, assembled, and produced to order, undergoing strict quality testing based on production‑line capacity.
EFT/YOCO/SNAPSCAN options available.
2. Delivery Options
Courier services are available and quoted separately based on the client’s location. Clients may also collect their order or arrange their own courier.
AVIN follows a strict dispatch procedure:
All couriers or collectors must check and sign that the product is received in perfect condition before it leaves our premises.
3. Packaging
Products are bubble‑wrapped and packaged in one of the following options:
A crate – required for international orders and recommended for long‑distance deliveries to ensure maximum protection.
A Styrofoam mould with bubble wrap, felt protection, and durable protective plastic – suitable for shorter‑distance transport where risk is lower.
All AVIN units are placed on brand‑new pallets custom‑made for each product. We do not use second‑hand pallets under any circumstances, ensuring stability, hygiene, and maximum protection during transport.
4. Handling Rules
• Delivery personnel only deliver the product; they do not lift, position, or assemble the AVIN.
• The unit must remain on the pallet until the client authorizes its removal.
• All protective moulds must stay on the AVIN until it is in its final position.
• Moulds must be removed by hand only — no sharp objects may be used.
• Protective moulds must remain on during installation to prevent damage.
5. Guarantee, Warranty & Payment Conditions
Warranty
All AVIN products include a warranty/guarantee provided the product has not been tampered with.
Installation Requirements
• Professional installation is required for chimney alterations.
• Installation is not included in AVIN’s pricing.
• Using unqualified installers may void the warranty.
• AVIN may request documentation for third‑party installations.
• Any installation by non‑authorized agents may invalidate the warranty.
Liability for non‑AVIN manufactured parts is limited to the manufacturer’s guarantee.
Disconnection, reconnection, or return shipping costs are not covered.
Liability
AVIN, its owners, and employees are not liable for direct or indirect losses, including injury, illness, damage, accidents, or economic loss.
Clients must follow all guidelines to avoid unnecessary costs or damage.
Using AVIN products implies full acceptance of all rules and responsibilities.
Warranty Void Conditions
• Tampering with branded details or product identification
• Unauthorized installation or modification
6. Payment Conditions
• Deposits are non‑refundable.
• Title transfers only once full payment is received.
• Orders are dispatched only after full settlement.
• Discounts depend on timely payment of deposits and balances.
• Settlement balances remain due regardless of installation or storage delays.
• If the final balance is not paid within the specified timeframe (48 hours from the dispatch email being sent), the unit will be released for sale.
• Once released for sale, a new unit must be rebuilt, and a new lead time will apply.
• If payment is not made within the required timeframe, all discounts granted will fall away, and the client will be held responsible for the full original order amount without any discounted pricing.
7. Chimney Design, Sketches & Call‑Out Fees
Design Sketches
AVIN provides chimney design sketches only after payment has been received for the relevant product or service.
These sketches require significant technical expertise and are created exclusively for planning and installation purposes.
To protect AVIN’s intellectual property, no sketches, drawings, or design concepts will be released prior to payment. All design work remains the property of AVIN until full payment is made. AVIN does not permit the distribution, replication, or use of our sketches or design concepts by any other supplier, installer, or manufacturer. Unauthorized use constitutes a breach of these Terms & Conditions.
Call‑Out Fees
Any call‑out required for measurements, assessments, or design purposes will be charged upfront and must be paid before the call‑out takes place.
If the client proceeds with the order, 50% of the call‑out fee will be credited on the final invoice.
If the client does not proceed with the order, the call‑out fee remains non‑refundable, as it covers time, travel, and professional expertise.
8. Collections & Deliveries
Clients may collect their orders or use their own transport. This must be arranged in detail (day, time, responsible person).
AVIN is not liable for delays or damages once the product leaves the premises.
Packaging & Handling
• AVIN packages the order and charges accordingly.
• Proper packaging is mandatory and includes clear handling instructions.
• Couriers must check and sign that products are received in perfect condition before dispatch.
• Offloading and placement in the designated area are the client’s responsibility.
9. Delivery Requirements
• All deliveries require a signature from an authorised recipient.
• Clients are fully responsible for arranging adequate assistance for off‑loading. Couriers are not responsible for lifting, carrying, or positioning the product.
• If no assistance is available at the time of delivery, the delivery may be considered refused.
• A handling fee may apply for any delivery refused due to lack of assistance or an authorised person to sign.
10. Inspection & Risk
If goods are accepted without inspection or signed for as “unexamined,” AVIN cannot accept any claims.
Clients must:
• Inspect goods immediately upon delivery
• Sign the delivery note accordingly
• Report any damage or shortages as soon as possible
AVIN is not liable for damage caused during off‑loading.
AVIN products are at the owner’s risk from the moment of delivery or collection.
11. AVIN Golden Rules (SOP) & Product Use
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your AVIN product, all clients are required to follow AVIN’s Golden Rules exactly as provided. These guidelines are designed by the manufacturers of the brand and reflect years of technical expertise, testing, and product knowledge.
AVIN provides clients with everything needed to use, maintain, and install their product correctly.
Failure to follow these rules is entirely at the client’s own risk and may result in avoidable issues, damage, or compromised performance.
When the Golden Rules are followed, your AVIN will function exactly as designed.
When they are ignored, AVIN cannot be held responsible for any resulting problems.
Clients are strongly advised not to rely on external advice from installers, contractors, or third‑party suppliers who are unfamiliar with AVIN’s engineering and specifications.
AVIN is the manufacturer of the product — no one knows our systems, materials, or performance requirements better than we do.
All clients agree to follow AVIN’s Golden Rules as a condition of purchase and use.
