Making a purchase at AVIN

When ordering an Oven from AVIN, customers often inquire about the lead time. Typically, the waiting period is approximately 3 weeks after placing an order and securing a deposit. Although we strive to accommodate clients who require an expedited delivery, AVIN prioritizes flawless quality and ensures that each order undergoes necessary quality testing based on the production line status. Each AVIN product is handmade and assembled, made to order, guaranteeing meticulous attention to detail.

Delivery Options

Courier options are available and quoted separately based on the area provided by the client. Customers may also choose to collect or arrange their courier service. AVIN follows a strict procedure of ensuring that designated couriers or collectors check and sign for the products in perfect condition before dispatch.

For clients choosing AVIN’s quoted courier service, products are initially bubble-wrapped and then packaged into either a crate or a Styrofoam mould designed for the product, covered with bubble wrap and durable protective plastic. While the cheaper Styrofoam option is available, AVIN recommends the crate packaging, especially for long-distance deliveries. This preferred option ensures the high-quality products and presentation are maintained, guaranteeing customer satisfaction upon receipt. Couriers designated for delivery must check and sign for the products in perfect condition before dispatch.

Delivery personnel do not lift or place the AVIN in designated areas, nor assemble any parts. The order remains on the pallet until you authorize its removal. Keep protective moulds on the AVIN until it is positioned correctly. Remove moulds by hand only—no sharp objects. Moulds must stay on during installation.

Guarantee, Warranty & Payment voids

All products sold in South Africa come with a warranty/guarantee, provided they are not tampered with. Professional installation is required for chimney alterations, which is not included in our prices; the customer must arrange this.

Please contact us for installation details of products shown on our website. Using unqualified professionals may void the warranty. AVIN reserves the right to request documentation for third-party installations.

Any installation by non-authorized agents may invalidate the warranty. Liability for non-AVIN manufactured parts is limited to the manufacturer’s guarantee. Disconnection, reconnection, or return shipping costs are not covered by us.

AVIN is not liable for direct or indirect losses from injury, illness, damage, or expense. Adhering to our guidelines is essential to avoid unnecessary costs. Use of AVIN products implies agreement to all rules/regulations and acceptance of liability for negligence.

AVIN – The company and its owners/employees are not liable for direct or indirect losses arising from injury, illness, damage, loss accident, or expense, including consequential or economic loss. To avoid unnecessary costs to AVIN or your surroundings, ensure the guidelines set out above are followed. Use of any AVIN products and the procedure thereof have been outlined above. By using any AVIN products, you acknowledge that you have reviewed all corresponding rules/regulations and agree to be bound by them. AVIN accepts no liability in respect of any loss or damage resulting from the negligence of the customer.

Warranty claims are void if the product’s branded detail is tampered with. Title transfers only upon full payment. Deposits are non-refundable.

Title of the good are only dispatched and passed to the buyer when full payment has been received by the Company.

AVIN ensures clear communication, adherence to manufacturing lead times, and compliance with client specifications. This, discounts allocated, depend on timely payments in deposits and balances; Any delays risks order cancellation and discounts will become void indefinitely.

Settlement balances are due regardless of client delays in installation or storage.

COLLECTIONS & DELIVERIES

Customers can collect their orders or use their own transport, but this must be arranged in detail (day, time, persons responsible). AVIN is not liable for any delays or damages once products leave the premises.

AVIN will package the order and charge the customer for the packaging accordingly. Proper packaging is mandatory to protect the order, with rules and regulations stated on the packaging. Couriers must check and sign that products are received in perfect condition before dispatch.

Offloading and placement in the designated area are the customer’s responsibility.

To prevent misunderstandings, this information is provided early.

Avoid transporting AVIN on a trailer to prevent internal damage from bouncing.

Do not double stack or rotate.

Only handle the AVIN on the pallet until it is in the designated area.

Delivery Schedule

Personal AVIN Orders are processed during standard office hours, Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm. Deliveries on weekends and public holidays will incur an additional fee. Courier deliveries are made directly from suppliers within the specified period upon confirmation; if this is not feasible due to the delivery schedule, customers will be notified. Delivery times provided are estimates only.

Please note that all deliveries require a signature. Assistance is expected for all deliveries when necessary. If assistance is unavailable, it may be considered a refused delivery.

The Company reserves the right to impose a handling fee for deliveries refused due to lack of assistance or an authorised person to sign for the goods.

If goods are accepted without prior inspection or signed for ‘unexamined,’ the Company cannot accept any claims. It is the buyer’s responsibility to inspect the goods immediately, sign the delivery note accordingly, and inform the Company of any alleged damage or shortages as soon as possible. The Company is not liable for any damage caused during off-loading.

AVIN Products are at the owner’s risk from the time of delivery or collection.
